Oli Christie, Managing Director
Oli was rather excited when he got his first iPhone - this genius little machine was clearly made for gaming, interaction and bucketloads of fun. So he thought he’d better do something about his excitement...and Neon Play is the result.
And the reason for his passion for games is because he’s spent 11 years making Flash and Shockwave viral games - over 200 in fact, which is quite alot.
Firstly as creative director of Panlogic, where he made some cracking games for clients like the BBC and lastminute.com. In fact, the successful iPhone game Paper Toss is somewhat of a rip-off of one of Oli’s finest games - see here for evidence. He’s not bitter though - honest.
Then Oli moved to InboxDMG (now called 20:20) where he worked for six years with a talented team, to produce some of the greatest viral games on t’Interweb, including such classics as Jelly Jumper and Post-it Draw-it (a pre-runner to Draw Something). He helped the team scoop over 25 industry awards and some accolades from vaguely far and wide.
As a result of the success of Inbox’s viral successes, Oli was invited to judge several high profile industry awards, including the much-coveted D&AD Awards, Revolution, DMA and Fresh Awards. Which was nice.
So that’s it really, and Neon Play is now happily ensconsed in Cirencester, which is near where Oli lives in the rolling Cotswold hills.
See Oli’s Linked-in profile here and some of the recommendations that nice people have made.
