Got an idea for an iPhone game?
Everyone you meet always says, "I've got a great idea for an iPhone game" and we always are really polite and say that we're really busy, blah, blah. But we thought that maybe if there are so many good ideas out there that we would give the wonderful British people a chance to actually get their own iPhone game idea made. By us.
So we called our friends at Mac Format magazine and suggested the idea, and along with their great new sister title Tap!, we've started a competition.
What's your idea?
If you've got a great idea, all you need to do is either click here to enter. Or you can buy a copy of Mac Format or Tap! magazine this month and fill out the application form. Sketch your idea and tell us a little bit about the game and then send it off to us at Neon Towers.
And here's the sort of things you'll need to write to enter. Not exactly rocket science. PS You need to be a GB resident. Here are the full, exciting terms & conditions. They do apply.
When we've got all the entries in at the end of May 2011, a highly qualified panel of top industry judges from Mac Format, Neon Play and respected industry journalist Stuart Dredge will sit down and work out which idea we feel is the best one.
Show me the money!
Then Neon Play will get to work and design and build the app and then launch it on the App Store. And if you're the lucky winner, you will share in 25% of the profits of the game, which could be a lot of money if things go well...

Oli Christie, CEO of Neon Play says, "We're really looking forward to some great ideas and hope that we get a cracking new game idea that will become an iPhone classic. Don't be shy if you think your idea might be the big one."
Graham Barlow, Editor-in-Chief of MacFormat and Tap! says: “There are be lots of people out there without the programming skills who have great ideas for iPhone games, and with the assistance of Neon Play, we’re going to help them realise their dreams.“
