Party time...
“Christmas time, mistletoe and wine, children singing Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.” It’s that time of year when the whole team gets togged up and heads off for an almighty big night out.
And our second Christmas party certainly didn’t disappoint. The team headed off to Cheltenham Racecourse for a Cuban night and Che Guevara would have been proud of our efforts.
We had a few early tipples to get the show on the road, and then the show really started. We had some lovely ladies doing some snazzy routine in the sky on some hoops - we might have a go at that in the office through our mezzanine floor.
And then three chaps in African themed dress (perfect for the Cuban themed evening) did some limbo dancing with flames chucked in for added drama/tension.
We had a gourmet five course meal, lots of vino, endless G&Ts and some fine banter. Rumours that someone had smuggled in three bottles of Sambuca are as yet unproven. Although the evidence suggested otherwise.
There was murder on the dancefloor and we shook our booties, doing our best to emulate the celebs on Strictly Come Dancing (and failing).
And the dodgems were fantastic fun as the video evidence below proves. They were the slidiest dodgems of all time, totally uncontrollable making it all the more fun.
All in all, it was a fantastic night and the team had a cracking, well deserved night out. No one seemed to go missing in action (for too long) and a great time was had by all. It sets us up nicely for 2012 and we’re all looking forward to a great year ahead.
