Hotshot Pool in the frame

Almost ready for launch

Wet beavers

As the summer dwindles out into a shower of showers, the Neon Play dream team have been beavering away like...err...beavers (with Macs) on our latest apps.

And we’ve got two great new games coming your way very soon. And here’s the first one to tell you about...

Hotshot Pool

If you like either pool, snooker, billiards, puzzle games, arcade games or illustrations of hot girls, then you’ll love this app.

Hotshot Pool

This is a 100 level game where each level’s objective is to pot the black ball. So it’s not a game of pool, it’s more of a puzzle/arcade game where you need to work out how you pot the black ball and get the right power and angle.

Its very simple to play as you just control the cue angle and pace by dragging your finger on the screen.

Introducing Cindy and friends

There are five stages/girls to unlock and they’ve all got fantastic American trailer trash names - Cindy, Angel, Tiffany, Brandy and Mercedes! And they’ll all rather attractive ladies (if it’s OK to be attracted to an illustration). Each stage has 20 levels to unlock before you can progress to the next stage (like Angry Birds).

Hotshot Pool

It becomes quite arcadey and puzzley and you’ll be able to find yourself playing for many a long, happy hour. As well as just completing each level, we have a star-system and a separate achievement system to keep people on their toes.

Hotshot Pool

We are just finishing off the last 20 levels as we speak and will then be submitting to Apple, who seem to be taking ten days to approve apps at the moment (please make it less).

We’ll be making a Hotshot Pool Lite and Hotshot Pool HD for the iPad as well, so lots of exciting stuff to look forward to.

Rent a quote

Oli Christie, taking a break from testing the Tiffany level commented breathlessly, "Hotshot Pool is a cracking iPhone game and with 100 levels, the savage reviewers who feedback on the game can't say they haven't got value for their 59p. It's great fun, very addictive and the illustrations are certainly eye-catching and make this pool game stand out from the plethora of pool games (which this game isn't like)."
