Nelson Mandela, Graham Pollock...Glenn from Neon Play
It’s always exciting when you start a new business and you actually start to employ people. After all, without talented bums on seats, you’re not actually going to be able to do much work.
So we’re all fuzzy with excitement to announce our third member of staff. If anyone remembers the old Spitting Image song, “I’ve never met a nice South African”, well we have actually met one, although he’s only half-South African.
Luckily his accent isn’t too strong, so he won’t hopefully be asking for “diplomatic immunity Mr Riggs” (joke ref: Lethal Weapon, circa 1986).
Anyway, the chap who’s taken the plunge to come and join us as a Neon Player is called Glenn and he’s a 3D whizz who’ll be creating all the lovely 3D assets for our iPhone games and apps going forward.
He’ll also be getting involved on the design side and taking on any other challenges that we can throw at him. Glenn said that he was “inspired by our professionalism and enthusiasm”, so he must have been caught us on a good day. We were inspired by his portfolio and the fact that he’s a good lad as well.
