2D interface designer
Designing beautiful, stand-out, unique, stunning mobile games is what Neon Play is all about. That and free beer on Fridays.
So we’re looking for a hands-on artist/designer who has talent in bundles, who salivates over the best mobile games and who can come and join this exciting mobile games studio.
You’ll design the look and feel of our top selling mobile games, from the interface and scoreboards, to the icon and the in-game look and feel. Is it pixel-perfect? Does the icon have standout? Are the screens
uncluttered, clean and clear? Will people love it? Will the screens sell
the game/app before they download it?
Your experience will need to be digital, but you don’t necessarily have to have had mobile or games experience. But we want to see examples of your digital work, so portfolios please. Have you designed websites, games, emails or microsites? Have you won awards for your work? We want someone who has worked for big-brand clients in good agencies, so they know how to produce stunning work.
If you’ve got experience of using 3D Max and creating 3D assets, that would be a big plus. And if you can illustrate and bring other skills to the party, then that could be a big bonus.
You will work closely with super-dooper talented developers who will need your stunning visual skills to work seamlessly with their techie genius. Put those two together and you will hopefully have a beautiful result.
Our office is based in the centre of the beautiful market town of Cirencester, slap bang in the middle of the Cotswolds. Walk out of the front door and you’ve got a great choice of shops, restaurants, pubs and pie shops. No McDonalds though, sadly.
If this sounds like your perfect job, please send in your CV and portfolio to jobs@neonplay.com. No agencies please. Yup, that’s right. No. Agencies. Please.
